The UPHDMC main hospital building boasts of a welcoming and warmly lit lobby leading to the various departments and offices, with easy access to each of the building’s four floors. The 24-hour emergency room is adjacent to a spacious waiting area, where patients and visitors are kept constantly informed of hospital news and services from an audio-visual screen. A new wing houses the brand-new Heart and Vascular Institute on the 3rd floor. The patient floors can accommodate 250 beds -- 54 private rooms, 18 semi-private rooms, 43 ward beds, and 8 suite rooms.
