UPHDMC’s highly skilled Rehabilitation Service team delivers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to Rehabilitation Medicine for patients who suffer from neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, arthritic, pediatric, and orthopedic disorders. The center aims to restore patients to a level of self–sufficiency that will enable them to resume a functional and productive lifestyle. A variety of out-patient and Home Care services and therapies are also available to patients. Medical conditions that require rehabilitation include strokes, peripheral vascular disease, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, traumatic head injuries, cerebral palsy, debilitating burns, spinal cord injuries, amputations, fractures, sports injuries, and many others.
